Make a confident investment decision before construction begins.
Not every irrigation concept is worth building. A feasibility study gives you the technical and financial clarity to decide which development option makes sense for your land, your water and your operation.
The study is the first step in a structured sequence. Its findings shape the masterplan, and the masterplan shapes the detailed design, so the decisions made here carry through every stage that follows.
It starts on your land. An Ant Consult engineer walks the site and assesses topography, soils, water availability, power supply and what you are trying to grow. Everything we recommend is built on what we find there.
First we establish the realistic ways of achieving what you want to develop. Depending on the project that means comparing water sources, storage options, pipe routes, irrigation methods and system layouts. Each option is tested against your site's physical constraints, how you need to operate and where you want the farm to be in twenty years.
Then we put numbers to those options. Capital cost, operating cost and projected return are quantified for each one. The result is a bankable feasibility report with clear IRR, NPV and ROI figures that give you and your stakeholders a sound basis for the investment decision.
If the numbers stack up, you move forward with confidence. If they don't, you’ve gained the clarity to rethink the project before significant capital is committed.
Before you commit to detailed design or construction, understand the technical, financial and operational implications of every option.
